Mr. Wentz has over 35 years of professional experience in project management, with expertise in the energy industry, including involvement in gas-fired, wind, hydro, solar, nuclear, and biomass conversion energy processes. Mel gained professional experience and expertise in engineering, steel fabrication, project development, project administration and construction management while working for a major mechanical construction and general contractor.

As President of Enserch Development/TXU Development (Texas Utilities), Mel led both domestic and international development activity on power generation projects in the U.S., China, Indonesia, India and Croatia. As a project engineer and investment manager with Westinghouse Credit, Mel was involved in project financing and administration of biomass, wind and gas-fired power generation facilities. He additionally served in the capacity of the CFO for an oil services company and as CEO for a publicly traded wind energy company. Mel has a BS in Civil Engineering and Master of Business Administration, both from the University of Pittsburgh.
