Mr. Denom is the former President of SNC-Lavalin International Inc. and has over forty years of global engineering-construction experience. He is a graduate of Mc Gill University with a B. Eng. in metallurgical engineering and an MBA in International Business Management. He is a co-founder of Groupe Mequaltech, a consulting firm and laboratory specializing in materials science and non[1]destructive testing, Terragon Environmental Technologies Inc., a cleantech company which develops innovative appliances dedicated to distributed waste and waste water management and Ossiaco Inc. which develops products for the clean, renewable, distributed electrical energy markets.

His wealth of knowledge and decades of experience has lead him to be a member of numerous boards of Directors and International Business Councils such as Canadian Representative on the Business Advisory Council of the Stability Pact for South East Europe, Berlin; Founding Member and Chairman of the Canadian-Turkish Business Council; Director, Canada Eurasia Russia Business Associations; Founding Sponsor of the Canadian Council on Africa (CCAfrica); Director, Canada India Business Council; Director, Canada China Business Council; Director, Conseil de Relations International de Montréal, (CORIM) (forum on international political, diplomatic and economic relations); Member of the Board – CANDU Energy Inc, nuclear power; Director, International Economic Forum of the Americas (Montréal, Toronto, Miami, Paris)
